Site code: LIE00A. Eight trenches excavated, revealing ditches, pits and possible postholes of suggested Romano-British date. Woolhope Club summary, Archaeology, 2000, pp. 101: Eight trenches exposed ditches, pits and possible post-holes cut into natural soils. One ditch contained a Romano-British pottery sherd, so the features may represent Roman-period settlement or other activity, although the evidence was too slight for secure dating.
