What this record tells us
Buteux’s assessment identifies the find catalogued as HWCM 19511 as a medieval silver penny. The current HER export links the record to FHE848, a medieval coin.
The ruler, denomination subtype, discovery date and finder remain unresolved. SO 49 59 is a 1 km square and the display point is only its centre. Do not combine this single coin with the riverside group at HWCM 20146 or call it a hoard.
