What this record tells us
Surviving former road toll house on the B4360, The Old Toll House, Ebnall Bank, Cholstrey Road, near town sign, just down hill from jct with Ginhall Lane, on North side of road. A two-storeys building of brick with a slate roof, in a design referred to as rectangular. Erected by Leominster Turnpike Trust in the 19th century. Now domestic property, with some additions or alteration to the original toll house structure. Grade II listed by Historic England. Milestone Society National ID: HF.LEO01. Last record: 2006.
