a (122). Houses and shops, Nos. 4–8, 20 yards S. of Corn Square, has some exposed framing both at the front and back. It was heightened late in the 17th century and partly again in the 18th century.

Timber-frame and render; plain tile roof. 2 storeys (with added storey to No.6); 3-window range: to right, 8/8 sash; two 6/6 sliding sashes. 3 altered earlier C20 shop fronts, with entrances to left, under deep jetty with exposed soffits on brackets.
